SoccerLearn From The Best In Our Nation's Capital!

This camp is designed to attract top-level Club, ODP, and high school players interested in playing college soccer.

The camp will feature highly qualified college coaches who will provide their insight and expertise on the game. Our coaches will provide exceptional training to help prepare our campers for college soccer and identify what level is appropriate for them.

The camp will be capped at 100 players to ensure personalized attention. Every player will be exposed to tactical training in an 11v11 format each day. They will be immersed in the attacking and defending concepts used in our own Georgetown system. In addition, showcase matches will be held each night.

Each player will also take part in technical sessions. At this time, coaches will focus on the technical development of each player and how they can best prepare for the college game. During this period we will also conduct specific goalkeeper training run by Harvard goalkeeper coach, Chris Cahill.

All of our soccer players will be provided with a detailed written evaluation by their team coach. These evaluations will be Socceruseful references in the rest of the recruiting process.

THE RECRUITING EDGE
One of the unique features of the Georgetown Residential camp is that our small enrollment allows for all the evening games to be played on one field at staggered times. This lets every coach watch every minute that every camper plays over the course of the session.

The morning sessions are run in training groups that expose the campers to concepts taught at the college level, and provide the staff a way to see how campers think and solve problems.

The afternoon sessions are set up to help teach mastery of the ball with technical sessions. Tight control, receiving, heading, driving the ball are all examined during these sessions.

The camp is, at its core, a teaching camp where campers will come away a better soccer player. It is also a recruiting camp set up to ensure that each of the college coaches present knows exactly what each camper attending is capable of by the end of the session.
