Georgetown volleyball will host two camps during the summer of 2007. The girls Individual Skills camp is for both beginner and advanced volleyball players ages 11 - 18. Camp will run from July 9 - 12, 2007 and take place in McDonough Arena on Georgetown's campus. This camp is designed to enhance individual skills and teach team concepts. Campers have the choice of residing on campus or participating as commuters.
The Georgetown Volleyball Youth camp is an exciting opportunity to introduce girls and boys ages 5 - 10 to the sport of volleyball. Each camper will be trained on the fundamentals of the game in an age-appropriate manner. Training sessions will be conducted on lower net with lighter volleyballs ensuring that campers have opportunities for success and enjoy their experience. The Youth camp will take place Monday, July 16 - Friday, July 20 from 9:30 a.m - 3:30 p.m. in McDonough Arena. Lunch is included daily. Each camper will receive a youth-sized t-shirt and a volleyball to take home at the end of camp.
