Edward J. Baran, C'58 of Chicago, donated this Scholarship in January of 1993. Ed is a long time donor and friend of Athletics along with his wife Kay.

This scholarship is intended for one or more undergraduate students participating in Intercollegiate Athletics at Georgetown without regard to geographic location. The scholarship will be awarded under the auspices of the John Carroll Scholarship program in consultation with the Director of Athletics, Dean of Undergraduate Admissions, and Director of Financial Aid.
