John, ('81), and Lisa ('83) Cleary have been consistent and loyal fans and supporters of Georgetown University and its intercollegiate athletics programs. The scholarship is to support current use, need-based athletic scholarships. These funds would provide one or more grants each year in which they are given for student-athletes with financial aid need who might not otherwise be able to afford a Georgetown education.
