Ned, B'67, and Judy Moran, N'68, in honor of the entire Moran Family, created the Moran Scholarship. Ned was a former rower and longtime donor to crew. The scholarship is reserved for a student(s) on the basis of both academics and athletic ability. The recipient(s), in addition to exhibiting academic competence must also demonstrate outstanding ability as determined by the coaching staff of the intercollegiate crew program in lightweight men's crew. If a lightweight rower is selected and were to become a heavyweight rower during his intercollegiate career, the scholarship would remain with that rower through graduation.
