The Donal M. Walsh Sr. Endowment Athletic Scholarship comes from the generosity of Brian and Maura Devaney of the class of 1976. The New York natives endowed the scholarship in the name of Maura's father. Both are Georgetown graduates and long-time friends and supporters of the University and Athletics.

This Scholarship is intended for a student whose participation in an intercollegiate program will significantly benefit that sport. The scholarship is athletic-and need-based. There are no academic or geographic preferences attached to the scholarship.
