Mission Statement The Georgetown University Sports Medicine Department, as part of the Georgetown Athletic Department, exists to provide high quality health care to all Georgetown intercollegiate student athletes. This includes prevention and care of athletic injuries and illnesses, rehabilitation, and case management. As part of a university community rooted in the Jesuit tradition, the Sports Medicine Department commits itself to the comprehensive care and development of the student athlete. The Sports Medicine Staff seeks to enhance the experience of intercollegiate student athletes by providing a safe and healthy environment for practice and competition.
