May 29, 2007 Washington, D.C. - Georgetown University junior Blaire Herron (Coronado, Calif./Coronado) was named to the 2007 ICSA Women's All-America Team this weekend, following the conclusion of the ISCA Women's National Championship in Norfolk, Va. Herron has earned All-America recognition in each of her three years on the Hilltop, having been an honorable mention selection as a freshman and sophomore. This marks the second-straight season in which a Hoya has been named to the All-American team, as Derby Anderson took home the honor last year, and the fourth time overall. This season, Herron led the Hoyas to the ICSA Women's National Championship, placing 10th this past week. She paired with senior Emily Siguler (Conway, Mass./The Hotchkiss School) to win the A division at the MAISA Women's Championship, helping Georgetown place second overall and qualify for their fourth straight national championship.
