Four Additional Members of the Georgetown Sailing Team Named 2007 ICSA All-Americans

June 4, 2007

Washington, D.C. - The Georgetown University sailing team added to their list of individual accomplishments this season, as four more student-athletes were named 2007 ICSA All-Americans.

Junior Chris Behm (Hampton, Va./Hampton Roads Academy) and senior J.B. Turney (Winnetka, Ill./Lake Forest Academy) were honored as ICSA Coed Skipper All-Americans, while sophomore Carly Chamberlain (Newport Beach, Calif./Newport Harbor) and senior Caroline LaMotte (Oxford, Md./The Hotchkiss School) were recognized on the ICSA Crew All-American list. LaMotte earns All-America accolades for the third-straight season, only the second Hoya to accomplish that feat, while Behm takes home the honor in consecutive years.

This marks the eighth-straight year in which the Hoyas have had members on both lists. Since 2000, Georgetown has had 15 crew and 14 coed skipper All-Americans

The four Hoyas join junior Blaire Herron (Coronado, Calif./Coronado) who was named to the 2007 ICSA Women's All-America Team last week. Herron has earned All-America recognition in each of her three years on the Hilltop, having been an honorable mention selection as a freshman and sophomore.
