Hoya Swimming and Diving to Host Dinner in New York Following BIG EAST Championships

Washington, D.C. - The Georgetown swimming and diving program, in conjunction with Hoyas Unlimited, will be holding a celebratory dinner at the Long Island Marriott on Saturday, February 17 at 9 p.m. The dinner will follow the conclusion of the final session of the BIG EAST Swimming and Diving Championship that will take place at the Nassau County Aquatic Center in East Meadow, N.Y. from Wednesday, February 14 through Saturday, February 17. All alumni and friends of the Georgetown swimming and diving program are invited to attend.

The cost of the dinner is $30 per person. Please RSVP by Tuesday, February 13 to Hoyas Unlimited at 202-687-7159 or hoyasunlimited@georgetown.edu .

The Long Island Marriott is located at 100 James Doolittle Boulevard in Uniondale, N.Y.

The Hoyas have qualified 24 student-athletes for the conference championship, the most ever for Georgetown. The morning preliminary sessions begin at 10 a.m. daily (with the exception of Wednesday, which only has an evening session), while evening sessions begin at 6 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the gate or in advance by calling Dennis Myron at the St. John's Athletics Ticket Office (718-990-6081). The Nassau County Aquatic Center is located in lot #1A off Merrick Avenue within the grounds of Eisenhower Park.
