Shaffer comes to Georgetown after working as the head baseball coach for Montgomery College Rockville and as an adjunct faculty member for health enhancement, exercise science, and the physical education department. This season with the Hoyas, Shaffer's duties will consist of working with the outfielders and aiding Coach Brock in working with the hitters. He will also be handling office duties including clerical tasks associated with recruiting. Shaffer is a 2001 graduate of Frostburg State University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in health and fitness. In 2008 he received a Masters degree in sports sciences in sport administration from Delaware State University. |
