Washington, D.C. - The Georgetown University baseball team lost the series finale to Louisville on Sunday afternoon at Shirley Povich Field, 9-2. The Hoyas offense was held in check by UofL freshman lefthander Bob Revesz and the Cardinal offense staked him to a 6-0 lead by the fourth inning. Sophomore Tommy Lee doubled to start the fourth and classmate Chip Malt moved him over to third on a grounder to first base. With one out, Revesz was called for a balk which scored Lee with the Hoyas first run of the contest. Sophomore first baseman Dan Capeless homered to lead-off the fifth inning for GU's second run. It was Capeless' second of the season and tied him for second on the team with junior Sean Baumann. Revesz earned his first collegiate win, throwing seven complete innings and allowing two earned runs on two hits. Senior second baseman Justin McClanahan finished the day 2-for-4 with two runs and three driven in. The Annapolis, Md. native collected a RBI single in the third and hit his eighth home run, a two-run shot, in the fourth for the Cardinals. The Hoyas have off this next week for finals but will resume play on Tuesday, May 13 at UMBC. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
