Egerson Leaves Georgetown

Georgetown University Men's Basketball Head Coach John Thompson III announced today that Sophomore Forward Marc Egerson has withdrawn from Georgetown. "Marc will be leaving Georgetown for personal reasons. We respect his decision, understand that the University is not a perfect fit for every individual and appreciate the contributions he made while he was here. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors."

Egerson, a 6-6, 237 lb forward from Wilmington, Delaware appeared in 13 games this season, starting three times. He averaged 7.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. In two years, he played in 34 games, averaging 3.4 points and 2.3 rebounds per contest.
