Georgetown University Men's Basketball Head Coach John Thompson III announced today that Ray Reed and Cornelio Guibunda had been granted their releases and were transferring from Georgetown. "Both Ray and Cornelio are fine young men. We support and wish them all the best as they move on" Coach Thompson said.

Cornelio Guibunda, a 6'9", 227lb. forward from Maputo, Mozambique attended King & Low Heywood High School. Last season as a freshman he saw action in four contests.

Ray Reed, a 6'1", 175 lb. sophomore guard from Inglewood, California attended Inglewood High School. At Georgetown he averaged 3.1 points and 1.7 rebounds over 58 games.
