Washington, D.C. - Former Georgetown University basketball standout Alonzo Mourning will be featured on Comcast Sports Net's "My Life 365" show on Tuesday night, October 7. The premiere episode of My Life 365: Alonzo Mourning will air following the Washington Wizards preseason matchup at the Dallas Mavericks.

This is the second edition of "My Life 365," produced by Comcast Sports Net. The show debuted last year, revolving around former Washington Redskins wide receiver Art Monk and his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

For this episode, Comcast Sports Net's Ron Thompson, a former teammate of Mourning's while the two attended and played basketball at Georgetown, spent six days in Miami with the current Miami Heat center for his 12th Annual "Summer Groove."

"My Life 365: Alonzo Mourning" is a 30-minute all-access special, hitting the core of what makes Alonzo Mourning a champion on and off the court. From his work at the Miami youth center, to his Red Carpet kickoff celebration, to his All-Star Basketball career, he tells all. Viewers will also hear in Alonzo's own words how the death of former Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor changed his life.
