Varsity Men's Lightweight Crew Second at Cornell Race

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Georgetown's Varsity 8+ men's lightweight crew team finished second with a time of 6:37.04 in rowing competition at Cornell University. Yale was first at 6:23.72 and Cornell placed third at 6:40.49.

The Second Varsity Lightweight 8+ and Freshmen Lightweight's each placed third in their events. The 2V8+ came in at 6:48.98 with the winning crew squad crossing the line at 6:39.93.

The Hoyas' next crew race will be the seventh annual Georgetown Invitational Regatta for BIG EAST Schools. The Regatta will be held on Sunday, April 30, on the Potomac River beginning at 8:00 a.m.
