2004: Had an excellent spring at FAU going 4-of-8 for 53 yards and a score against the first team defense in the spring game...
2003: Originally plans were to begin collegiate career in January of 04, but due to quarterback injuries had to report to pre-season...gained valuable practice time taking every snap running the scout team and used the year as a red-shirt season...a member of the Dean's List...
High School: A four year varsity football letterman ...starting quarterback at Florida 5A school during sophomore year...started at three different Florida high schools in four years...had over 5,000 career passing yards running three different offensive schemes...as a senior attended Cardinal Mooney High School and tallied 2,272 yards passing yards in spread type offense and had 26 passing TDs and six rushing TDs...completed 155 of 236 attempts...earned First Team All-State and First Team All Area Honors and was the ABC athlete of the week three times as a senior...guided Mooney, which captured the District 8 Championship....was offered scholarships to numerous Division I-A schools but stayed close to home with FAU. |
