The Georgetown University men's golf team shot rounds of 16-over par 300 and 19-over par 303 and is in 15th place after the first day of play at the Princeton Invitational, hosted by Princeton University at the Springdale Golf Club in Princeton, N.J. St. John's leads the 15-team field at three-under par 565 and holds a seven stroke lead over George Mason, in second at four-over par 572. Princeton is third at eight-over par 576, followed by St. Bonaventure (10-over par 578) and George Washington, rounding out the top-five teams at 13-over par 581. Keegan Bradley of St. John's leads the field of 77 golfers at six-under par 136. Georgetown was led by junior Tim Hager (Ivyland, Pa./Council Rock North), who is tied for 26th place at five-over par 147. Hager shot a one-under par 70 in the first round. Sophomore Vincenzo Salina (Vandoeuvres, Switzerland/Institut Florimont) is tied for 38th place at eight-over par 150, carding an even-par 71 in the second round after a first round eight-over par 79. Senior David Praet (Oakland Township, Mich./Notre Dame Prep) is tied for 68th place at 13-over par 155, junior Garrett Logan (Henderson, Nev./Bishop Gorman) is tied for 72nd place at 14-over par 156 and junior Patrick Sherry (Brookeville, Md./Landon) is tied for 75th place at 15-over par 157. The final round will tee off at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.
