Endowed Funds
THE RICHARD K. BARRY SCHOLARSHIP
Richard K. Barry, beloved golf alum, C'59, endowed this scholarship in loving memory of his father, Richard, to help the Georgetown University golf team compete at the highest level.
THE MARK J. "Buddy" STUART Jr. GOLF SCHOLARSHIP
Mark J. "Buddy" Stuart Jr. B'60, former captain, Hoya standout, and a member of Georgetown's Hall of Fame, endowed this scholarship for deserving young golfers who demonstrate the talent, passion, and respect for the game while maintaining Georgetown's reputation as one of the finest universities in the nation.
THE THOMAS E. GALVIN MEMORIAL GOLF SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship was created in loving memory of Thomas E. Galvin B'90, former captain and Hoya standout who fell victim in 9/11. The Galvin family and friends invite Georgetown fans to help the golf program excel at the Division I level.
THE JOHN KENNY GOLF SCHOLARSHIP
Gerry Kenny B'71, former captain, endowed this scholarship in loving memory of his father, John, to assist a deserving young golfer who is pursuing a business degree in The McDonough School of Business. THE THOMAS M. GRAHAM Jr. GOLF SCHOLARSHIP Thomas M. Graham Jr., C'63, former captain and Hoya standout, endowed this scholarship for a deserving young golfer who comes to Georgetown as a leader with a passion for the game and the highest respect for sportsmanship and integrity. THE GIRAUDO FAMILY GOLF TRAVEL FUND
Lou and Denise Giraudo, the wonderful and generous parents of former Hoya golfers, Bryan B'97 and Dan B'01, endowed this travel fund to provide the golf program with the resources needed to compete in quality intercollegiate golf tournaments.
THE NICK COOK AWARD
A generous and anonymous donor has endowed this award in the name of Nick Cook B'03, former captain, Hoya standout, and school record-holder for individual scoring. This award is bestowed yearly to the athlete who has displayed the following: a commitment to the betterment of the team, a passion for the game, a high degree of competitiveness tempered by respect for the game, the highest level of integrity, and a high degree of competence on the golf course. Proceeds will support the costs of travel to help upgrade the level of competition.
