As I write this blog, we're in Milwaukee's airport, awaiting a flight back to the Nation's Capital after coming up on the short end of a 1-0 decision to a hungry Marquette team on Saturday night. Earlier this week we dropped a very competitive battle against cross-town rival #9 Maryland 2-1. This recent slump marks the first time we've lost back-to-back games this season. However with only four games remaining in the regular season there is no time to feel sorry for ourselves as on Wednesday we host Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish are tied with us for third on our side of the BIG EAST boasting a 5-3 BIG EAST record.
