WASHINGTON, D.C.— The Georgetown University men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs were named among the top ten academic teams in the nation by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
The men’s GPA of 3.34 for the spring 2004 semester ranked second in the nation, and is an improvement from the fall when they were ranked third with a GPA of 3.28. The women ranked ninth with a GPA of 3.44, also an improvement from a No. 38 ranking last semester (3.23).
This is the 20th consecutive semester Georgetown swimming and diving has been honored with Team Academic All-American status.
