Strong Performance by Navy Shuts Down Hoya Men’s Tennis

ANNAPOLIS, MD. – Georgetown men’s tennis suffered a shut out loss against Navy on Saturday evening January 31 at the Severn Valley Racquet Club outside of Annapolis, Maryland

The 5-0 loss occurred despite determined effort and solid play from the Hoyas as Navy played a very strong match start to finish.

As the February schedule begins, the Hoyas start with a weekend of Atlantic Coast Conference competition. On Saturday Feb. 7 Georgetown travels to Charlottesville, Va. to take on the #28 Virginia Cavaliers and on Sunday the Hoyas visit cross-town rival University of Maryland in College Park.
