Alisha Mosley, a Maryland native, joins the Georgetown basketball staff for her first season. A former standout player at Wake Forest University, Mosley will oversee the Hoyas' travel planning, assist with recruiting and scouting and work with the guards.

Prior to Georgetown Mosley spent three seasons at Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland as an assistant coach. She was in charge of all travel coordination and made all lodging and meal arrangements for the Greyhounds. In addition to those duties Mosley assisted with scouting, recruiting, working with the guards and all other coaching duties.

A four-year women's basketball letterwinner at Wake Forest University, Mosley played for veteran head coach Charlene Curtis. She was named her team's "Most Valuable Player" at Wake Forest her senior season while also earning All-ACC honorable mention. As a freshman, Mosley was named to the ACC's All-Rookie Team. A point guard, Mosley finished her career third on the Deacons' all-time list in three pointers, eighth in free-throw percentage and 10th in assists.

Mosley then played for the Atlanta Justice of the National Women's Basketball League in 2000-01 under head coach Jeff Williams. She also worked for FoxSportsNet in Atlanta in 2000-01 through the ACC Futures Program.

A native of Baltimore, Mosley is a 1996 graduate of Mt. Hebron High School in Ellicott City, Maryland where she was a record-setting athlete. She was named the Howard County Player of the Year and to the USA Today all-state team in both 1995 and 1996. As a senior, Mosley was the state's scoring leader, averaging 28.4 points per game, also a school record. She was also named to the Baltimore Sun All-Metro Team twice.

Mosley earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Wake Forest in 2000. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in education and resides in Ellicott City, Maryland.
