Georgetown Women Hoopsters Look to Snap Four-Game Slide vs. Seton Hall on Tuesday Night

Washington, D.C. - The Georgetown University women's basketball team (10-7, 0-4 BE) closes out a three-game homestand on Tuesday, January 22 when the Hoyas host Seton Hall (12-4, 2-2 BE) inside McDonough Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Live stats along with live video are available via www.guhoyas.com. Chuck Timanus and Dana Simonelli will be on the call.

Georgetown will be looking to stop a season-long four-game losing streak while the Pirates are winless in their last two league games.

Seton Hall has league wins over Villanova (51-49) and Cincinnati (54-43) and BIG EAST losses to Rutgers (69-47) and USF (75-67).

Series vs. Seton Hall ... Seton Hall leads the all-time series 28-19 and the Pirates have won five of the last six games and eight of the last ten. Senior guard Ela Mukosiej tallied 23 points in last season's 71-67 SHU victory over Georgetown in South Orange, N.J.

Fast Breaks ... The Hoyas are 6-2 at home.

It is the first 0-4 start in BIG EAST action for Georgetown fourth-year head coach Terri Williams-Flournoy. .

After being held without a three-pointer in seven straight games, senior co-captain Kristin Heidloff (Chicago Ill.,Fenwick) has connected on five treys in the last two games. Heidloff's 138 career treys is just two three-pointers from fifth place all-time in school history.

The 34-points from GU senior Kieraah Marlow (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) against Notre Dame was the first 30-point effort for the Hoyas since Marlow went for 30 vs. Savannah State on December 12 of last season. Marlow collected her 29th career double-double with 34-points and 13 rebounds last time out.

Since entering the starting lineup 10 games ago, sophomore forward Jaleesa Butler (St. Louis, Mo./Alton [Ill.]) is averaging 11.6 points on 48 percent shooting, 7.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks during the stretch.

Sophomore Meredith Cox (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) has connected on 10 of her 22 three-pointers in the last four games. In those games, all 10 of her field goals have come from long range.

Scouting Seton Hall ... Junior forward Noteisha Womack leads the Pirate attack with 11.6 points per game while she leads the BIG EAST and ranks third in the nation with 12.1 rebounds per contest.

Senior guard Ela Mukosiej averages 10.8 points and 2.9 assists per game.

Junior guard Jadis Rhodin is seventh in the league with a .426 three-point field goal percentage.
