Hartford, Conn. - Georgetown University junior Kieraah Marlow (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) was named All-BIG EAST Second Team as voted on by the league's 16 coaches. The announcement was made at the annual awards banquet which opened the 2007 BIG EAST Women's Basketball Championship Presented by Aéropostale. It marks the second straight year Marlow earned Second Team accolades.

Marlow led the Hoyas and ranked tenth in the league with 16.0 points per game. She became just the eighth GU player to surpass the 1,100-point and 600 rebound marks.

Marlow tallied over 20 points 11 times this season and notched a career-high with 30 points vs. Savannah State.

The 5-10 forward now has 25 double-doubles for her career. Her 18 made free throws in the Appalachian State win is the single-game high by a BIG EAST player this season.

Marlow currently ranks third among active BIG EAST players with 24 career double-doubles. Marlow was named to the All-BIG EAST Freshman Team in 2004-05.
