HARTFORD, CT- Georgetown University's Kieraah Marlow was named to the 2005 BIG EAST Women's Basketball All-Freshmen team at the league's annual banquet. In a vote by the conference's coaches Marlow became the 10th Hoya ever to be named to the All-Freshman team and the last since Mary Lisicky earned a spot in 2002. Marlow led the BIG EAST in double-doubles this year with 13 and placed second in the league for rebounding with 8.7 per game and tied for ninth in scoring with a 12.8 average. She was a starter in all 28 games for Georgetown and led the team in both scoring and rebounding. Marlow was the team leader in scoring 10 times and had 20 games when she scored in double digits. She also led the Hoyas in rebounding in 13 affairs and recorded 10 or more rebounds in 15 contests. The #6 seeded Hoyas take on #11 Syracuse in the 2005 BIG EAST Championship First Round on Saturday, March 5, at 8 p.m.
