Roe played basketball for one year and rowed for two years in high school. She was the captain of her high school crew team for a year; she was also the captain of the varsity Georgetown Crew team for one year. She received the MVP and Spirit Award for Georgetown Novice Crew in the 2005-06 season. She participated on the team that won the Big East Championships in Novice 4+ in 2006. She was on the Highest Honor Roll and ranked third in her high school class. Kaitlin is the daughter of Deborah and Patrick Roe. She attended Plum Senior High. |
