Crew Teams Row at the Head of the Charles Regatta

Georgetown University's men's and women's crew teams participated in heavyweight and lightweight racing on October 20-21, at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, Mass.

The Hoya men participated in four events and posted respectable finishes in each of their races. The men's lightweight four finished 10th out of 20 teams with a time of 18:20.57, while the lightweight eight finished with a time of 16:16.79 to place eighth.

In the men's championship four, the Hoya rowers notched an 18th place finish with a time of 18:47.14. Two Georgetown teams participated in the men's championship eight, finishing 19th and 42nd with times of 15:36.91 and 16:30.44, respectively.

In women's competition, Georgetown placed 49th in the championship eight, posting a time of 18:59.44.

The Hoyas will row next in the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta in Philadelphia, Pa., on Saturday, October 28.
