Washington, D.C. - Georgetown University Director of Athletics Bernard Muir announced today that due to the outbreak of norovirus on campus, the field hockey team will not travel to Storrs, Conn. for the Saturday, October 4 game against Connecticut. The Hoyas have also postponed its match with Massachusetts on Sunday, October 5.

"After discussion between medical personnel at both universities and with Connecticut and Massachusetts's athletic administration, the decision has been made not to participate in this weekend's games. A make-up date has not been reached at this time."
