WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Georgetown University women's golf team finished ninth overall after the final round of the First Market Bank Intercollegiate at on Sunday afternoon, shooting a 76-over par (315-337--652) to finish three strokes in front of Towson University and six strokes in front of Radford University. Junior Chelsea Curtis (Mashpee, Mass./Cape Cod Academy) finished in a tie for second place, shooting six-over par 150 (70-80--150) over two days. Curtis, who was tied for the lead after the first round finished among the tournament leaders in several categories, including third in birdies (5) and tied for fifth in pars (21). Junior Carly Hunt (Easton, Pa./Conestoga) finished in a tie for 11th place, shooting a 15-over par (76-83--159). Hunt tied for second place in the tournament field with 22 pars. The Hoyas finished with 79 team pars. GU will host the Hoya Invitational in Beallsville, Md. on Monday, March 31 and Tuesday, April 1.
