Junior Chelsea Curtis (Mashpee, Mass./Cape Cod Academy) finished in seventh place, three Georgetown golfers placed among the top-20 overall and the Hoyas shot their best round of the weekend on Saturday as the team finished in fifth place of 14 teams at the Roar-ee Invitational, being hosted by Columbia University at the Hampshire Country Club in Mamaroneck, N.Y. Brigham Young led from start to finish and topped the 14-team field with a 90-over par 942, finished 23 strokes ahead of second place Harvard (113-over par 965). Yale placed third at 136-over par 988, followed by Wofford (144-over par 996) and Georgetown, fifth at 145-over par 997. . Curtis posted her best round of the weekend on Saturday, carding a seven-over par 78 to finish in seventh place at 27-over par 240. Junior Carly Hunt (Easton, Pa./Conestoga) finished in a tie for 15th place at 35-over par 248 and senior Katie Dwyer (Allentown, Pa./Moravian Academy), who shot a seven-over par 78 on Saturday, tied for 17th place at 36-over par 249. Freshman Christine Curley (Vienna, Va./James Madison) tied for 40th place at 47-over par 260, while classmate Robyn English (Warwick, R.I./St. Mary Academy) tied for 55th place at 54-over par 264. Georgetown hits the links again next weekend, playing in the BIG EAST Championship in Cincinnati, Ohio.
