The Georgetown women's golf team placed two individuals among the top-10 overall and the Hoyas shot a 27-over par 315 and stand in fifth place of seven teams at the BIG EAST Championships, being held at the Elks Run Golf Club in Cincinnati, Ohio. Notre Dame shot a 13-over par 301 and leads the field by nine strokes with a 36-hole total of 21-over par 597. Louisville is second at 30-over 606, Cincinnati is third at 40-over par 616, St. John's is fourth at 41-over par 617 and the Hoyas are fifth at 47-over par 623. South Florida is sixth at 62-over par 638 and Rutgers is seventh at 95-over par 671. Senior Brittany Lambertson of St. John's shot a two-over par 74 in the second round and is tied for first place in the field of 35 at four-over par 148 with Annie Brophy of Notre Dame and Sara-Maude Juneau of Louisville. Georgetown junior Chelsea Curtis (Hyannis, Mass./Cape Cod Academy) shot a two-over par 74 in the second round to lead the Hoyas and is in sixth place at six-over par 150. Junior Carly Hunt (Easton, Pa./Conestoga) carded a three-over par 75 and stands in ninth place at nine-over par 153. Senior Katie Dwyer (Allentown, Pa./Moravian Academy) shot a 12-over par 84 in the second round and is in 25th place at 16-over par 160, freshman Christine Curley (Vienna, Va./James Madison) is tied for 30th place at 22-over par 166 and senior Madeleine Nguyen (Atherton, Calif./Menlo) is in 33rd place at 25-over par 169.
