Georgetown senior golfer Chelsea Curtis (Mashpee, Mass./Cape Cod Academy) is tied for second place and three Hoyas are among the top-20 overall as the women's golf team is in third place after the first round of play at the Princeton Invitational, being held at the Springdale Golf Club in New Jersey.

The 36-hole tournament being played at the par-72, 6,108-yard course wraps up on Sunday.

Host Princeton shot a 10-over par 298 and leads the 15-team field, with Harvard four shots behind at 14-over par 302 and Georgetown 10 behind at 20-over 308. Columbia (22-over par 310) and St. John's (24-over par 312) round out the top-five, while Siena (26-over par 314) is sixth, Penn State (29-over par 317) seventh, Morehead State (Ky.) and Rollins College are tied for eighth (31-over par 319) and Albany and Lehigh are tied for 10th place (37-over par 325).

Curtis shot an even-par 72 and is tied for second place with Susannah Aboff of Princeton, one shot off the lead of Renee Cloutier of St. John's, who fired a one-under par 71 to lead the field of 89 golfers.

Senior Carly Hunt (Easton, Pa./Conestoga) shot a four-over par 76 and is tied for 12th place, while sophomore Robyn English (Warwick, R.I./St. Mary Academy) is tied for 19th place at five-over par 77. Freshmen Eunae Jo is tied for 52nd place at 11-over par 83 and Joan Dulieu is tied for 57th place at 12-over par 84.
