Georgetown University senior women's golfer Chelsea Curtis (Mashpee, Mass./Cape Cod Academy) shot an even-par 144 and is in fourth place after two rounds of play at the Badger Invitational, being hosted by the University of Wisconsin at the University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wis. The Hoyas shot a 42-over par 618 and is tied for seventh place with Maryland in the 12-team field. California leads the tournament after a 36-hole score of 17-over par 593, nine strokes ahead of host Wisconsin. Minnesota is in third place (28-over par 604), with Charleston (33-over par 609) and Indiana (34-over par 610 rounding out the top-five teams. Tulane is sixth at 35-over par 611. Wisconsin's Jessie Gerry leads the field of 72 golfers at seven-under par 137. Curtis shot a one-under par 71 in the first round and followed with a one-over par 73 in the second round, her first tournament after winning last week's Princeton Invitational. Freshman Eunae Jo (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) is tied for 27th place at 11-over par 155, while senior Carly Hunt (Easton, Pa./Conestoga) is tied for 34th place at 13-over par 157. Sophomore Robyn English (Warwick, R.I./St. Mary Academy) is tied for 58th place at 19-over par 163 and freshman Joan Dulieu (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Detroit Country Day) is in 61st place at 20-over par 164. The final round will be held on Sunday.
