Two golfers are among the top-10 overall and the Georgetown women's golf team is tied for sixth place after two rounds of play at the LPGA International-Xavier Invitational, being held in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The Hoyas are tied for sixth place at 41-over par 617 with Stetson. Yale leads the 15-team field at 25-over par 601, followed by Florida Atlantic (28-over par 604), Eastern Michigan (29-over par 605), with Bethune-Cookman and Lamar tied for fourth place (37-over par 613).

Senior Chelsea Curtis (Mashpee, Mass./Cape Cod Academy) shot a three-over par 75 in the first round (results from that round were not available until Saturday because darkness halted play on Friday) and followed that up with a one-over par 73. She had a 36-hole score of four-over par 148 to tie for seventh place, four shots off the pace of Therese Nilsson from Lamar, who leads at even-par 144.

Senior Carly Hunt (Easton, Pa./Conestoga) is one shot behind Curtis at five-over par 149, tying for ninth place. Hunt shot a five-over par 77 in the first round, but bounced back with an even-par 72 in the second round.

Freshman Joan Dulieu (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Detroit Country Da) is tied for 44th place at 17-over par 161, while freshman Eunae Jo (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) is tied for 52nd place at 18-over par 162 and sophomore Robyn English (Warwick, R.I./St. Mary Academy) is tied for 61st place at 21-over par 165.

The final round of play will be held on Sunday.
