Washington, D.C. - The Georgetown University women's golf team continues its season playing in the second of seven tournaments this weekend at the Princeton Invitational in Princeton, N.J.

The Princeton Invitational will be played at the Springdale Golf Club in Princeton, N.J. The course is 6,108 yards in length and is a par-72 course. Teams will play 18 holes on both Saturday and Sunday.

Georgetown tees off at 8:45 a.m. with Harvard and Columbia. In addition to Georgetown, Harvard and Columbia, 13 other teams will tee off this weekend, including Albany, Brown, Dartmouth, Lehigh, Morehead State, Penn State, Princeton, Rollins, Rutgers, Sacred Heart, St. John's, Siena and Wagner.

Earlier this month the Hoyas opened their season hosting the NCAA 2008 Fall Preview at the Caves Valley Golf Course in Owings Mills, Md. Competing with the nation's best, the Hoyas placed 15th out of 15 teams. Junior Carly Hunt (Easton, Pa./Conestoga) and senior Chelsea Curtis (Mashpee, Mass./Cape Cod Academy) led the team in individual scoring and both tied for 61st and 66th, respectively.

Curtis tied for second last year at the Princeton Invitational posting 8-over par 152. As a team the Hoyas placed fifth at the 2007 Princeton Invitational.

Next up the Hoyas will play in their third tournament of the season in Madison, Wis. at the Badger Invitational.
