Washington, D.C. - Georgetown University Head Women's Golf Coach Patty Post announced that Eunae Jo has signed a National-Letter-of-Intent and will be part of the Hoyas' 2008-09 recruiting class. Jo, from Ridgewood, N.J., has been a standout golfer in the scholastic ranks at Ridgewood High School and on the junior circuit. She was named first team All-State in New Jersey as a junior and won the American Junior Golf Association's Fidelity Investments Junior Classic in Marblehead, Mass last year. In addition, she placed second in two International Junior Golf Tour events as an upcoming junior. "We look for Eunae to make an immediate, positive impact for the team when she arrives on campus as a freshman," Post said. "She has a ton of talent and dedication, which will be a huge asset for the Hoyas in 2008." Post is in the midst of her second year at the helm of the Georgetown women's golf program. She led the Hoyas to a fourth place finish in the BIG EAST Championship last year, and this year has guided the squad to five top-10 finishes. Post, who has competed professionally in LPGA Tour events, and the Georgetown women's golf program will serve as the hosts for the 2009 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Tournament at Caves Valley Golf Course in Owings Mills, Md.
