Erin Hellmold is in her fourth season as an assistant coach with the Hoyas. She has been with the Hoyas staff after serving two seasons as an Assistant Coach at the Stevens Institute of Technology.

During her three seasons with the GU program, Hellmold has coached two offensive All-Americans in Alison Chambers and Coco Stanwick and helped the Hoyas average almost 11 goals per game.

During her two seasons at Stevens, the team placed in the ECAC tournament both years, winning the 2003 and 2004 Knickerbocker Conference Championship. The 2004 season record was the best in Stevens history.

Aside from coaching, Hellmold is the Owner of the New York Lacrosse Academy, located on Long Island. She is also the director of the Cardinal Lacrosse Club program in Northern Virginia.

Hellmold, a 2002 graduate from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in political science, and played four seasons (1998-2002) of varsity lacrosse for the Blue Jays. She was a two-time captain, was voted the best offensive player in 2001 and was selected for the 2002 North/South Senior All-Star game. Additionally, she is among the Blue Jay leaders in career assists, goals and points.

Hellmold currently resides in Arlington, Va, with her husband Erich, a football standout and 2002 graduate of Johns Hopkins.
