A two-time member of the Region II ODP team and the Minnesota ODP program, Durkee enjoyed success as a student at Como Park High School where she had a very successful career. She was twice named as an All-State selection and Conference MVP while also being named the Star Tribune Scholar Athlete of the Year and winning the St. Paul Athena Award.
