WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The "Senior Day" experience for outfielder Christina Gallinari, Georgetown Softball's first four-year letterwinner was an anti-climactic one, as heavy rain ended the Hoyas first season in the BIG EAST prematurely. Darkness obscures any vision of the Georgetown University softball team's evening conditioning drills at Multi-Sport Field. They've been at it for two hours, with occasional headlights from passing cars shedding the only light over the last hour. It's dark enough where the only thing that might tip off pedestrians walking up the hill that it is in fact the softball team practicing is the voice of junior catcher Suria Bahadue (Miami, Fla./Monsignor Edward Pace) shouting encouragement to her teammates.
