WASHINGTON, D.C. – Georgetown senior Juliana Bonilla (West Covina, Calif./Covina High School) was named the Northeast Conference’s Women’s Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week for her efforts in the Hoyas’ meet against Seton Hall last weekend.

Bonilla earned a first place finish in the one-meter dive and a second place finish in the three-meter dive against the Pirates. Bonilla scored 236.10 points in the one-meter and 216.22 in the three-meter. She ranks first in the league in both diving categories.

The Georgetown women’s swimming program became an associate member of the Northeast Conference this season. Bonilla bested candidates from 12 other conference teams to earn the award.
