Results

RICHMOND, Va. - The Georgetown women's tennis team lost to University of Richmond, 7-0, taking just one set from the Spiders on Thursday afternoon.

After sweeping team doubles play, Richmond took the first five singles matches in straight sets. Freshman Alex Sebia (Plains, Pa./Scranton Prep) took the first set, 4-6 from Jelena Zivanovic in the No. 6 singles match, but Zivanovich came back to win the second 6-3 and the third 11-9.

The Hoyas return to action on Tuesday, March 26 when the take on UMBC at 2 p.m. at the McDonough Tennis Complex.
