Washington, D.C. - The Georgetown University women's tennis team lost a pair of BIG EAST Conference matches last weekend and then lost a non-conference match at Maryland yesterday The Hoyas drop to 3-14 with a 0-5 mark in league action.

The junior tandem of Liz Winokur (West Palm Beach, Fla./Cardinal Newman) and Adriann Gin (Honolulu, Hawaii/Punahou School) picked up their fourth win of the season at the top spot against Connecticut.

Junior Stephanie Cohen (Fayetteville, N.Y./DeWitt) recorded her eighth win of the spring season against Connecticut and Winokur won at the third position for the second Hoya point. Winokur also picked up a point against Maryland as the lone victor in singles action.
