2007-2008 Georgetown Men's Student Ticket and Seating Policy

 • Georgetown University students with a valid GOCard may purchase Georgetown Men's Basketball student season tickets through the Georgetown Ticket Office; there is a limit of one student season ticket package per student

 • On game day, the first students to arrive at Verizon Center will receive wristbands for admittance into the 100 level student sections. After all the wristbands have been allotted and the 100 level student sections are filled, student seating will continue in the 400 level.

 • Wristbands will be distributed on game day at the "Student Entrance" of Verizon Center at 7th & F Streets. This entrance is on 7th Street, closest to F Street (just around the corner from the metro exit). In order to receive a wristband, all students with a student season ticket must enter Verizon Center through this "Student Entrance." Wristbands will not be given out at any other time or location other than at the "Student Entrance" on game day.

 • Students will receive wristbands while waiting in line at the "Student Entrance." Once a student receives his/her wristband, he/she may not leave the line. Once a student has his/her ticket scanned and has entered the arena, he/she may not exit. Reentry into Verizon Center is not permitted. Also, remember that bottles, cans and outside food are not allowed in Verizon Center. All bags are subject to search and luggage is not allowed in the building.

 • When entering Verizon Center through the "Student Entrance," students must present their student season tickets as well as their valid GOCards. Each student must use his/her own GOCard; he/she may not use the ID of another student.

 • Once students have entered the arena, those with wristbands may proceed to the 100 level student sections (sections 105, 106, 116 and 117). In order to enter the 100 level student sections, students must present both their wristbands and their student season ticket stubs to the usher. Students who do not present both of these items will not be admitted.

 • Students must keep their wristbands on and be in possession of their student season ticket stubs at all times. Any student found in the 100 level student sections without a wristband and student season ticket stub is subject to removal from that section. Similarly, anyone with a damaged, torn or otherwise not in tact wristband will be removed/not admitted.

 • Once all the wristbands have been distributed, students with student season tickets who did not receive wristbands will be seated in the student season ticket sections in the 400 level (sections 430, 431 and 432).

 • Seating in all student season ticket sections (both in the 100 level and the 400 level) will be general admission.

 • Students purchasing individual-game tickets will neither be eligible for a wristband nor eligible to sit in any of the student season ticket general admission sections (sections 105, 106, 116, 117, 430, 431, and 432). Instead, individual-game student tickets will be for assigned seats in other sections of the arena (exact sections to be determined based on availability).

 • The Georgetown University Athletic Department reserves the right to alter this policy at any time.
